The Senior Officer (Corporate Communications) will execute and lead diverse communication initiatives to promote HKGI’s mission and enhance public awareness of genomic medicine and HKGI’s work.
Reporting to the Acting Senior Manager (Corporate Communications), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily news and social media monitoring, and perform research for market news and policy updates to inform communication strategies
- Draft and translate bilingual promotion materials, oversee the end-to-end production of corporate publications, such as annual reports and patient recruitment materials
- Execute online promotion through design and content development for corporate website and social media platforms, ensuring materials are visually compelling and consistently updated
- Support the maintenance of design direction and ensure visual consistency across all communication materials
- Coordinate with internal teams to support the implementation of publicity campaigns and public education initiatives
- Assist in stakeholders’ engagement by maintaining strong relationships with media partners, community organisations, and other key partners in the healthcare and scientific sectors
- Build and maintain communication databases and channels, such as stakeholder lists
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Communications team
- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers
Requirements:
We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the post of Senior Officer (Corporate Communications) who possesses:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Languages, Public Relations, Public Administration, Marketing or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, publication or related fields; experience in a sizable public organisation or public relations agency is an advantage
- Provent experience in printing, production and event management with a strong sense of design and creative execution (experience with video production software is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing and social media management, including familiarity with web applications such as WordPress
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), with the ability to translate complex information into accessible content for the public
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Remuneration:
Successful candidate will be offered attractive remuneration and be appointed on an initial two-year contract (subject to mutual agreement for contract renewal).
