IT Support Engineer

With HKGI’s continuous expansion, an additional IT Support Engineer is required to provide timely and effective front-line IT solutions to our internal users.  The incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line IT support, addressing user inquiries via calls, Microsoft Teams and emails
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and IT services issues
  • Support Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, business applications, and peripheral devices
  • Manage user account and access control
  • Maintain IT equipment, servers, and basic network connectivity
  • Assist with server troubleshooting and Active Directory administration
  • Track and update support requests in the service desk system
  • Manage hardware and software inventories
  • Collaborate with other members of the Enterprise IT Services team on technical support and system implementation
  • Adhere to IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior officer

Requirements:

We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the post of IT Support Engineer who possesses:

  • A diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, and a team-oriented attitude
  • Availability to work on weekends as needed

Preferred Certifications and Skills:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification

Remuneration:

Successful candidate will be offered attractive remuneration and be appointed on an initial two-year contract (subject to mutual agreement for contract renewal).
