Corporate Governance and Compliance
Graduate Intern (Corporate Governance and Compliance)
The Graduate Intern is expected to support the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Division. He or she will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in internal audit, internal controls monitoring and review, and compliance enhancement.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in executing internal audit assignments, including planning, documentation and reporting
- Review business processes to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support testing of internal controls and compliance with prevailing policies and regulatory requirements
- Check audit findings and prepare draft reports
- Collaborate with subject officers across Branches and relevant organisations
Requirements
- Fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with some IT exposure (e.g. information systems, data analytics, or IT audit)
- Basic understanding of internal controls and risk management concepts
- Strong communication skills for clear documentation and presentation
- Final year students in the coming academic year would be considered on an exceptional basis

Programme Duration
Successful candidates will receive three to six months of on-the-job training at the Hong Kong Genome Institute, with a monthly remuneration to be determined by the HKGI. The internship period may be extended subject to HKGI operational requirements.
