The Hong Kong Genome Institute (“HKGI”) invites qualified tenderers to submit tenders for the fitout works contract for the laboratory of HKGI.

General Scope

The scope of the tender involves the main contractor works for the fit-out for the laboratory of HKGI at Unit 505, 5/F, Building 20E, Hong Kong Science Park, with total lettable area of 5,690 square feet.

Qualification Criteria

Tenderer is required to have a licensed Registered General Building Contractor under the Buildings Ordinance to carry out the works. The Tenderer shall demonstrate relevant experience of at least 2 fit-out projects in Hong Kong completed in the recent 5 years, with a project sum over HK$5 million each, satisfied by either:

(a) the Tenderer’s own projects; or

(b) the proposed key project team members in the previous projects (e.g. as Project Director or Project Manager).

Tender Documents

Interested parties are required to provide information to the HKGI to show that they meet the qualification criteria (as stipulated above) by email to the email address below and to request a copy of the tender documents. The HKGI has the sole discretion to issue the tender documents to any person/entity whom the HKGI considers appropriate.
